It's humble pie time and while I am extremely upset and angry with Sir Alex and Manchester United for last night's humiliation at Burnley, at least it might give the Clarets a real go at avoiding relegation straight back into the Coca-Cola Championship.
Some people are already saying Burnley will be in a very healthy and happy position if they do go back down.
A great experience in the Premier League, loads of money in the bank and the potential to come straight back again - if they want to. In other words become a yo-yo team.
But fair play to Robbie Blake, manager Owen Coyle and those Burnley diehards - they should milk last night for all it's worth because it is not going to make it any easier in the Big League for 'em. In fact, it will make it tougher.
They will be expected to raise their game now on every occasion - but it won't happen. Like I say, if they can stay out of that bottom three come next May, then that is a major, major achievement and nothing should sway them from that.
Winning breeds confidence and sometimes leads to more success, but Burnley should not lose too much sleep if they don't experience great domestic cup runs like they did last season.
